Clothing color question

Good evening,
I was planning on getting the Taoist uniform in blue for my meditation and for when I give respects to my ancestors, such as during Zhongyuan Jie. do you feel like this would be the appropriate color for such occasions?
Hello! For this event, white is the correct color with an optional white headband. Blue does not really fit this occasion. White is for people who mourn the dead and worship their ancestors, and the Daoists usually dress in white during this event. White also shows the purity in one’s spirit, but it would mean worshipping ancestors for this event. The robe definitely has to be white, shoes and pants can be optional what color you find best. If you only have a blue uniform, you can get a white overcoat and white headband, and it fits also.
