Xuan Men Jian, 玄门剑, the full name is Wudang Taiyi Xuan Men Jian ( 武当太乙玄门剑）. It’s one of the most prominent plays among all the Wudang weapons, and as well it’s representative of Wudang sword plays.
As the representative of Wudang sword-plays, Xuan Men Jian possesses the most well-known characteristics of Wudang Internal Kungfu. It requires that the sword goes exactly when and where your body goes; in the meantime, your body dominates and navigates your sword. Your form and will, will and Qi, Qi and soul have to be ideally in accordance with each other. Your eyes, hands, body, and steps also have to follow the swordplay tightly. Eventually, you will reach the level of becoming one with your body and your sword.
The seminar will last for four days, while the 11th of August will only feature an evening class.
Schedule:
- 11th August: 18:00-20:00, 6pm to 8pm
- 12th August: 10:00-17:00, 10am to 5pm
- 13th August: 10:00-17:00, 10am to 5pm
- 14th August: 10:00-17:00, 10am to 5pm
Lunch will be provided by the school.
