The Wudang Daoist Traditional Kung Fu Academy was founded by Master Yuan, a 15th generation Daoist priest and disciple of Wudang Kungfu’s San Feng Pai (San Feng sect). Here he performs the Wudang Taiyi Wuxingquan Form.
Master Yuan was one of the first to embrace the Wudang Government’s call to “let the world know about Wudang,” opening his own school to teach international students. Thus the Wudang Daoist Traditional Kungfu Academy was born with the blessing of his mentor, Master Zhong Yunlong.
Master Yuan’s mission in his own words is to “broaden the reach of Taoism and to train outstanding wushu experts.”
