Terms and Conditions
Version 1 · effective 8 October 2026
Seller: Michael König-Weichhardt, trading as Wudang Academy (sole proprietor), Bachweg 10, 8410 Wildon, Styria, Austria · master@wudang.academy · see the Imprint
1. Scope
1.1. These Terms govern memberships, course purchases and the use of wudang.academy and its subdomains ("Academy") between Wudang Academy ("we") and you.
1.2. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection law (in particular KSchG, FAGG and ABGB) prevails over these Terms.
2. Offer
2.1. The Academy offers video courses, lessons, workshops, articles, a wiki, a community with posts, comments and private messages, and member areas. What a membership or course includes, its price and its billing period are shown on the offer page and at checkout before you order.
2.2. Training content is for practice and education. Practise within your own physical limits and ask a doctor if you have health concerns. The content does not replace medical advice.
2.3. We may develop the Academy further. We announce material restrictions of paid content at least 30 days in advance by email or by a notice on the Academy.
3. Contract and account
3.1. The presentation of memberships and courses is not a binding offer. By completing checkout you make a binding order; the contract is formed when the payment is completed and your access is activated.
3.2. You need an account with a valid email address. Sign-in links are sent there, so keep access to your inbox secure. An account is personal; you may not share your access.
4. Prices, payment and renewal
4.1. All prices are final prices in the currency shown, including any statutory VAT.
4.2. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive your full card data.
4.3. Memberships renew automatically for the same billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Cancellation and refunds follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
4.4. We announce price increases for existing memberships at least 30 days in advance by email; you can cancel with effect from the date of the increase.
4.5. If a payment fails and is not settled after a reminder, we may suspend access to paid content until it is settled.
5. Withdrawal information for consumers
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Michael König-Weichhardt, trading as Wudang Academy, Bachweg 10, 8410 Wildon, Austria, master@wudang.academy) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we receive your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
If you requested that the service (for example live or community parts of a membership) begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount proportionate to what has been provided until you informed us of your withdrawal, compared with the full coverage of the contract.
Early expiry for digital content
For digital content not supplied on a physical medium (for example video courses and lessons), the right of withdrawal expires once access has begun, if you expressly requested immediate access before the end of the withdrawal period, acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and we confirmed this to you on a durable medium (for example by email). The statement reads:
"I request immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that I thereby lose my right of withdrawal once access has begun."
If you did not give this statement, your right of withdrawal applies for the full 14 days, even if you have already used the content.
Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)

6. Your content and conduct
6.1. You keep all rights to the posts, comments and messages you create. You grant us the non-exclusive right to store, translate and display them on the Academy as far as this is needed to run it, for as long as the content is online.
6.2. Do not post unlawful, infringing, harassing, deceptive or advertising content. We may moderate, hide or remove content and, after serious or repeated breaches, block the account.
6.3. Course videos, texts and other teaching material are protected by copyright. They are for your personal use only; you may not copy, record, publish or share them.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance and disruptions at providers can cause brief interruptions. For consumers the statutory warranty (sections 922 ff. ABGB) applies.
8. Liability
8.1. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury.
8.2. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to typical, foreseeable damage. Towards consumers, this limitation applies only as far as KSchG and ABGB allow.
9. Term and termination
9.1. You can cancel a membership at any time in your account or by email to master@wudang.academy; it ends at the end of the paid period.
9.2. We can end a membership with 30 days' notice to the end of a billing period.
9.3. Either party can terminate without notice for good cause, in particular for serious or repeated breach of these Terms.
10. Changes to these Terms
We can change these Terms for objective reasons (for example changes in law or in the Academy). We announce material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you object within that period, either party can end the membership when the change takes effect. Continued use counts as consent only if the notice pointed this out.
11. Law, jurisdiction, disputes
11.1. Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and conflict-of-laws rules. For consumers, the mandatory law of their country of habitual residence remains applicable (Art. 6(2) Rome I).
11.2. Place of jurisdiction is the court with subject-matter jurisdiction for 8410 Wildon, Austria. Consumers may also sue at their place of residence and can be sued only there (Art. 18 Brussels Ia).
11.3. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Please contact master@wudang.academy first.
12. Final provisions
If a provision is invalid, the rest remains valid. The invalid provision is replaced by a valid one closest to its purpose, unless mandatory consumer law applies.
