Wudang Campus

The Wudang Academy is your digital training room for Wudang Taiji, Qigong, Gongfu, and inner practice. You do not learn through loose clips, but through guided video lessons with Meister Ziji: clear foundations, repeatable exercises, and a path grown from decades of practice.

If you are just beginning, you get orientation. If you already practice, you get structure. If you want to go deeper, the Professional membership leads you step by step into the principles behind the movement.

Who it is for

This online school is for people who do not only want to watch Wudang, but want to bring it into the body. You do not need to be athletic, young, or especially flexible. What matters is that you practice regularly and are willing to repeat simple things cleanly.

Beginners receive a calm start without overwhelm: stance, breathing, body awareness, basic movements, and short practice units you can follow directly at home.

Returning students find order in their training. Instead of collecting more and more videos, you build a practice that makes sense: first stability, then connection, then finer coordination.

Advanced practitioners can connect body mechanics, forms, inner principles, and applications more precisely. The school helps you read familiar movements in a new way and release unnecessary tension step by step.

Online students worldwide learn at their own pace. You do not need a perfect training room or complicated equipment. A screen, a little space, and an honest practice routine are enough to begin.

The path of Meister Ziji

Meister Ziji, Michael König-Weichhardt, began his martial arts journey in 1999. From many years of training, searching, teaching, and practical work with the Wudang arts, he developed a method that takes tradition seriously and translates it clearly into the present.

His path was never only a collection of forms. The same questions were always at the center: How does a stance become truly stable? How does power arise without hardness? How can the breath stay natural when movement becomes complex? How does outer form become inner practice?

The Wudang Academy grew out of this development. It brings decades of experience into a digital learning space so you do not have to sort everything from zero. You receive not only answers, but direction: less show, more structure; less pressure, more repeatability; less mysticism, more practice you can feel.

That makes the teaching especially valuable for online students. Meister Ziji explains not only what to do, but why it is practiced that way and how you can notice that something is changing.

What you learn online

The online school connects physical foundations with inner work. Each unit should not only inform you, but bring you into a concrete practice.

AreaStarting pointWhat it gives you
QigongBreathing, posture, releasemore calm, body awareness, and daily stability
TaijiSteps, basic forms, principlesbalance, coordination, and flowing connection
GongfuLines, repetition, power pathprecision, presence, and clear movement logic
MeditationAttention, stillness, methodfocus, self-regulation, and deeper practice
TheoryTerms, training logic, relationshipsunderstanding instead of blind imitation

You learn in meaningful layers. A lesson can look simple and still work deeply when you practice it regularly. This is exactly the strength of the Wudang arts: they grow with you.

The content is built so you can repeat it. You can use short units for everyday life or longer sequences as a serious training block. This turns the online school not into a media library you click through once, but into a companion for your development.

How it works

The entry point is deliberately simple. You open the video archive, choose a suitable lesson, and begin with a manageable exercise. Then you repeat the same unit until your body understands more than your head.

1. Orientation: You find out where you stand right now: foundations, Qigong, Taiji, Gongfu, meditation, or theory.

2. Guided lesson: Meister Ziji shows movement, alignment, and inner attention at a pace you can follow.

3. Repetition: You return to the same lesson. This is exactly where progress appears, because you notice differences that remain invisible the first time you watch.

4. Deepening: Through the Professional membership and longer sequences, this grows into a clear learning path. You connect individual exercises into a practice that can carry you for months and years.

This structure is especially important when you learn online. It removes the question of what makes sense next and gives you a path that can build step by step.

Professional benefits

The Professional membership is for students who want more than occasional single videos. It gives your practice depth, sequence, and commitment.

With Professional, the video archive becomes a learning system. You can repeat foundations, work through longer series, and understand the connection between Qigong, Taiji, Gongfu, and inner work more clearly. Instead of deciding from scratch each time, you follow a clearer path.

The Professional level is especially valuable if you want to practice long term. You receive more context for principles, more material for repetition, and more ways to look at the same movement from different perspectives.

The goal is not to overload you with content. The goal is to give you exactly enough material to keep going, recognize progress, and make your practice more independent.

What is different

Many online courses show movements. The Wudang Academy also shows you the logic behind them. That changes how you practice.

You do not receive exaggerated promises or a rushed fitness plan. You receive a calm, clear entrance into a practice that needs time and works precisely because of that. The teaching stays grounded: posture, joints, breath, attention, line of power, timing, and repetition.

This site is intentionally for people who want to grow over the long term. Not consume faster, but understand more deeply. Not start more often, but continue better.

For beginners, that means safety. For advanced students, it means precision. For everyone, it means: you can practice online without feeling left alone.

Video archive

The video archive is the best entry point into the Wudang Academy. There you find the first lessons and course areas that make your practice concrete.

Begin with a unit that does not overwhelm you. Practice it for several days. Pay less attention to how it looks and more attention to what you feel: stance, weight, breath, tension, calm. Then go to the next lesson or repeat the same one with more attention.

When you notice that you want to stay with it, the membership is the next meaningful step. It turns individual videos into a path and interest into a stable practice.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be athletic?

No. The online school begins with awareness, posture, and calm repetition. If you practice regularly, your body can adapt step by step.

Is this in-person teaching?

No. This start page intentionally leads into the online school, video courses, and digital learning. The focus is a practice you can build at home and in your own rhythm.

Can I start as a beginner?

Yes. The content is built so you receive orientation first. You do not need to know a form before you begin. What matters is that you start with simple lessons and really repeat them.

What does Professional give me?

Professional makes sense if you want to learn long term. You receive more structure, more depth, and a clearer path through the material. That helps you not only start with motivation, but stay with it.

How often should I practice?

Short and regular is better than rare and too much. Even a few focused minutes can be valuable when you practice cleanly and repeat the same lesson several times.

What happens with other languages?

German is the source language of this school. Professional multilingual delivery provides additional language variants so you can use the key pages and course access internationally in a clean way.
